Competent Answers Network
What is The Competent Answers Network?
The Competent Answers Network (CAN) is an interactive, internet-based, private Social Enterprise.
As opposed to Social Media, that mostly serves distribution of opinions and stories, CAN is designed to introduce a human factor that undergoes a verification for legitimacy and competency into the cycle of search for answers to questions that are generated by our daily problems.
By Private it is understood that its full functionality is accessible only to members. A member can be anyone who is known to at least two existing members who recommend that person, and vouch for the competencies listed in that person’s profile application. To become a member, anyone needs to have at least one competency.
What Kind of Questions? Ask one!
In CAN, we recognize the 6 types of questions in Bloom's Taxonomy:
Knowledge --- Comprehension --- Application --- Analysis --- Synthesis --- Evaluation
Click here for more details on Bloom's Taxonomy.
As a searcher of an answer, try to formulate your question as clearly as possible. Try to indicate what kind of question you are asking, by using the above list.
Are you ready to ask a question? If so, see if your area of interest is among our currently available competencies.
Who can participate in CAN?
There are many roles that make CAN possible. Among these, there are:
Searcher - the person who is looking for a competent answer to one or more questions (anyone can be a searcher, please let us know if you would like to participate in the building of CAN as a Tester);
Referrer - a person who is involved in the functioning of CAN by offering domain-based recommendations of competent sources that can provide an answer to the Searcher’s questions;
Provider - a person who can provide a competent answer to a question;
Qualifier - A person who determines what requests from Referrers and Providers could or could not be approved for participation in the CAN.
At the same time, please remember: for the time being, CAN is a private network, reserved only to members. Would you like to become a member? If so, please apply here.
Apply for a role
If you are a CAN member, you can also apply for a role. The following are roles available within the Competent Answers Network.:
